‘Thee Anthology of Darnell Schoolfield’ Private Album Listening and Artsy Sh!t Session

After a 4-year hiatus, SupaIceCold Nell is back, presenting his 13th project and debut rap album, "Thee Anthology of Darnell Schoolfield." Please meet us at Thinker Makers Society, 320 Race St, Philadelphia, PA 19106, for an exclusive and intimate listening session on Sunday, April 28, from 4 PM to 7 PM, as we dive deep into the Philly soulful journey that is SICNell's latest creation.

"Thee Anthology of Darnell Schoolfield" serves as a raw and introspective chronicle of life in the wake of the pandemic. Through poignant penmanship and captivating samples, SICNell paints a portrait of his past 33 years--which we'll also be celebrating as of Friday, April 26--delving into themes of loss, love, grief, addiction, braggadocio, and self-evolution.

At the listening session, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the (working) album in full before its official release, purchase exclusive album collectibles, and take away their own works of art.

Set in a cozy and artistic space, guests will be transported into the world of Darnell Schoolfield while enjoying food, spirits, and artmaking. They are encouraged to dive into their world of art as they listen–through various mediums, from acrylic paints and stencils to magazines, newspaper collages, and more.

Throughout the event, SICNell will share personal anecdotes, insights, and behind-the-scenes stories that shed light on the creative process behind the album. Attendees will also have the chance to engage in a Q&A. The listening session also features visual elements curated by SIC Nell, adding to the storytelling experience.
